Mr Mathew Thomas
After completing medical school I completed my Basic Surgical Training in North Wales and successfully pass the MRCS examination in 2005. I commenced Higher Surgical Training in Urology in 2007, on the Mersery Deanery Rotation. During this time, I worked in several specialist units, gaining experience and training in the latest management of Urinary tract Stone disease, Uro-oncology disease, as well as the management of benign and malignant urological disease. During 2012, I successfully passed the final FRCS(Urol) examination, and then completed Higher Urology Training in November 2013.
Since completing my higher urology training I have been working as a consultant based in North Lincolnshire specialising in kidney stone treatment, urology cancer diagnostic investigations, and benign prostate disorder management (including TURP and green light laser surgery). Additionally I treat peno-scrotal disorders, vasectomy, erectile dysfunction, and bladder dysfunction (including bladder Botox injections, urinary tract infections, and cystitis). I also perform various diagnostic investigations, such as cystoscopy, urodynamics, and prostate biopsy (including transperineal biopsies).
I aim to offer a comprehensive personalised service to all patients, offering rapid diagnosis, specialist intervention and tailored aftercare, by employing the very latest techniques and treatments and state-of-the-art methods. The in-house support team are dedicated to making your journey as smooth and efficient as possible.
